Tacos Güey

after enjoying myself so much the first time, I went back last night for the second time. I was so excited to bring my girlfriend and show her the place and their wild cocktail menu. The bartender who works closest to the door was there again and was great about talking to us about the rare, exotic bottles behind the bar. He is fantastic! Later I excused myself to use the restroom. After waiting for about 5 minutes, looking at 2 lockedoccupied bathrooms, I convinced myself to knock on both doors. I was shocked when one bathroom door barged open and i was verbally assaulted by a man who was in the first bathroom. I was shocked that anyone in their right mind would have such an aggressive reaction to me knocking on a bathroom door, especially when taking so long. What shocked me most was what happened next. When the man finally left the bathroom, he then went directly into a door labeled Restricted leading me to believe hes part of the staff. I later found out from another staff member that the man was a GMowner of the restaurant. Im not only disappointed with the interaction, I thought I had found a great restaurant which I could go back to regularly. I cant imagine Ill be going back anytime soon, possibly ever. I felt like a real sucker paying the $200+ bill at the end of the night. The food and drinks were great but the taste from the interaction with this jerk has ruined the place for me.

This is a truly high level restaurant. Each dish is prepared with a very level of sophistication. We live in California where we eat Mexican all the time. This was on a different level! The prices were reasonable. The drinks were very unique and our waitress was very knowledgeable and friend and gave us great recommendations for drinks to match our food. Thank you for a great evening!
