Mortar & Pestle

It was an experience for sure. The server took forever to greet us. Like 15 minutes forever. There were only 3 of us. My husband and I ordered the same drink..from their menu. And the server forgot. But what bothered me was that he sent someone else over to ask.... He was more interested in hanging out at the bar with his friends who were there (the only other people in the place) than he was worried about us. We are not high maintenance people by any stretch and yet his service left us going what the... I ordered a sampler and he commented on how much food I was eating....which is a) rude, b) not his place, and c) some people like leftovers. He then brought out the food. He told us it was everything so my husband and I were left thinking we were sharing a plate. And rice. 20 minutes later his food finally came out. Wish we had known earlier so he didnt eat mine We were also left with out silverware and napkins. He didnt bother to come back around so we had to go to the bar to ask. Normally that would not have bugged me but with only one paying table and the trend he was on, it was the straw that broke the camels back To be fair, he comped some food for us... The food was ok. If you want good Indian food, there are better places. The place had a good vibe but the service was so bad we didnt even feel welcome. 210 would not recommend. We wont be going back.

¿Qué puedo decir? Este lugar tiene un ambiente sofisticado con el personal más amable. Los cócteles fueron de clase mundial y, en general, este está ahora en mi lista de lugares para volver a visitar la próxima vez que esté en Salt Lake. Bien hecho muchachos.

El personal era amable y la comida y las bebidas eran fantásticas. Este es un bar relativamente pequeño, por lo que definitivamente no es ideal para reuniones grandes. Lo recomendaría si solo busca un lugar tranquilo con algunos amigos.

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago. A great speak easy atmosphere. Quiet and excellent cocktails. Also attached to a curry restaurant. The food was excellent. The staff made me feel welcome. One of the better downtown experiences I have had.

Un pequeño bar escondido en un pequeño lugar tonto con bebidas increíbles, buen servicio y un ambiente fantástico. Fuimos el sábado a las 5 y estaba muerto ... como nos gusta; tal vez * Rona * estaba asustando a la gente. Este lugar no se esforzaba demasiado, se sentía cómodo en su piel, por así decirlo, y disfruté de los cómodos asientos. Probamos algunas bebidas, todas muy sabrosas y con una presentación increíble! Los nachos eran geniales, aunque demasiado pequeños, maldita sea, y esa es realmente mi única queja. Escondido en la parte de atrás de un pequeño y moderno porro indio. Tiene capacidad para 20 personas en total, así que planifique con anticipación y tal vez haga una reserva.
