Campuzano Mexican Food

The food is amazing but not worth going in if you are BLACK or a person of color. Weve been to this place a couple times before as it is located near uptown and loads of downtown activities. Today, we drove an hour from McKinney, passing numerous places, to get the food. We made it in and the server acted as if it was bothersome to refill chips and salsa. Even stating that we would have to pay for extra (Never happened before). Then at the end of the meal, he brings the ticket. We provide a card and wave him to pick up. An alternative person comes to charge the card but demands ID. We were shocked as we have never been carded at Eddie Vs or the cheesecake factory post meal. So we inquire why and they proceed to tell us ita a new policy because people scammed them yesterday. So while talking and finishing up, we notice that they are ONLY CARDING BLACK PEOPLE. I am not one to call race on anything but it was clearly discrimination. I spoke with two managers , Jose and another one who did not give a name, and both were very dismissive. They said someone stole yesterday so they have to do this. I highlighted that we DO NOT KNOW ALL BLACK PEOPLE and are not associated with whomever stole from them. I even asked how they would feel if they were discrimated against for being Mexican and they all said they would not like it but insisted on doing it to their black patrons. Muy rico, rápido, el camarero que nos atendió muy atento y simpático! La comida es muy sabrosa pero llena muchísimo! La única pega es que al salir hueles a comida una barbaridad. Todo huele a comida... Hay parking.

No recomiendo ese lugar , ellos poncharon mi llanta de mi troca , una persona que estaba ahí adentro que limpia las mesas se que tube que ver algo en esto de mi llanta . Aparte de que se nos mirada ENOJADA 😡 fue tan incomodo tenerla de frente todo el tiempo mirándonos. Cuando yo salí del restaurante ella también salió eso no es casualidad estoy tan enojada Jamás volvería a ese lugar tenga mucho cuidando cuando vallan a ese restaurante por sus carros y aparte de que siempre están mirándote los meseros y los que limpian las mesas .

Super. Deliciosa la comida. Buen servicio. Solo les falta mas rapides. Para llevar los platillos pero entiendo es demasiada gente.
